A month ago, Another Glass of Tea was launched to the world – and what a month it’s been!
A corner of my living room is full of boxes of books I hope to sell myself at local events and book signings (stay tuned soon for more information on when those will be), and to friends and acquaintances. The pile is smaller than it was then, so that’s a good sign! I even did an unboxing video when they arrived.
I’ve added a page to my website to house the reviews that are starting to trickle in and I get a rush of joy when I see a new one on Amazon, or Kobo, or Goodreads – or when they show up in my email. A huge thank you to my readers who have left me a review so far. I’ll be sharing more of them this week. If you’ve finished the book, please do leave a rating and a review – they feed the algorithms that make Another Glass of Tea more visible to other readers.
I know for a fact that my novel exists not just in Canada, but that there are copies in the US, the UK, and in Turkey. It’s a heady feeling – and who knows where else it might be!
My social channels are growing – you can find me on Instagram and Twitter for now, but I have a sneaking suspicion that Tik Tok is not far behind! Follow along to see what I’m reading, how Another Glass of Tea is doing and other bookish things.
I’ve done my first media interview and am finalizing some event details. I’ve reached out to libraries and book stores and things are starting to gel. I launched a newsletter that I hope to keep up monthly – you can sign up using the form on the bottom of this page.
There’s been so much to learn, and so much to do. I’ve joked that I hardly have time to have a day job, let alone carve out time to continue a second book that’s very much in my mind these days. Only kidding, boss!
With month one so eventful, I can’t wait to see what month two brings!
